WINTER:
Obertauern - at an elevation of almost 1800 metres above sea level (at the pass), this mountain ski area boasts more snow than anywhere else in the SalzburgerLand. Close to Haus Kirchgasser is the stop for the FREE ski shuttle, with the Gnadenalm and its mountain cross-country trails also along the same route. Skiing, boarding, carving, cross-country, guiding, snowbike & more - in addition to the slopes of the "Tauernrunde" (all ski slopes can be enjoyed in what amounts to one big loop, without ever having to unclamp your skis), Obertauern also awaits you with an array of après-ski hotspots and nightlife that has to be experienced to be believed.

Aside from our closeness to Obertauern, we also offer quick access to the "Ski Amadé", Austria's biggest ski alliance including these regions: Salzburg Sports World, Schladming- Dachstein- Tauern, Gastein, Grossarl Valley and Hochkönig's Winter Kingdom. That means, you can enjoy an unbelievable 865 (!) km of slopes and 276 lifts - all on a single ski pass ! And for an absolute hit, there's nothing better than the "| Salzburg Super Ski Card" - valid at ALL Salzburg ski areas (incl. Obertauern !!!)

SUMMER:
In summer, the region around Obertauern offers a broad spectrum of recreational opportunities - from a golf course, tennis courts and mini-golf courses, to the big Alpine Pool in Radstadt, along with an extensive network of cycling, hiking and riding trails. Add to this our ideal location as a base for hikes, mountain tours and outings of all kinds. The provincial capital, Salzburg, with its countless cultural and architectural highlights, as well as the lakes of Carinthia, are all within quick, easy reach.
